I worked at iPlanet under BJ Bushur and David Andrzejek and IT WAS THE
BOMB!, I miss everyone at Netsales, I was surrounded by young dynamic
professionals, after contracting for a while I landed a gig as a
mortgage underwriter but this industry collapsed and I found myself
going back to school to gain new skills, the sky is the limit for me

I was never interested at moving to The Land Of The Earthquakes, but when I visited Netscape
I knew I had to help. What a great ride!

I joined in 1997 as a Security Architect, grew the network up from 2 "T1s" (!) to 4 "T1s" (!) to
well...then things were growing so fast it was hard to keep up. I also created the bastardized
network that was Netscape/Sun/AOL = iPlanet -- good times. :)

April 13, 1998 - September 28, 2001

Netscape was the only workplace in my life where I felt at home from Day 1 on the job
(Technical Support). What made Netscape special for me was the collection of wonderful,
bright, creative people who inhabited the place. I also spent a great year (April 2000-April
2001) as a Netcape Dedicated ESAM based in VG5&6 at Apple Computer, helping the
"mac.com" (now ".Mac") folks roll out IMAP email to the masses.

AOL laid me off on September 28, 2001, and I started with Sun Microsystems in the same
job (ESAM) on October 8, 2001.

I resigned from Sun Microsystems and left on April 8, 2005. I started at VeriSign as a
Global Deployment Manager on April 18, 2005. VeriSign had a reorg that laid off about
9.6% of its staff world wide in February 2007. My position was eliminated, and my last day
there was February 16, 2007. I will let you know where I land (always on my feet). Scratch
off one more life....

I started my own company, Cheshire Cat Photo, LLC in early March 2007. We are "Your
Guide to California's Wonderland™" and specialize in digital stock photography of
California. Our customers are photoeditors who need stock photos of California and also
customers who would like to buy prints or merchandise decorated with photographs of
California. See us on the Web at http://www.cheshirecatphoto.com or http://
www.cCatPhoto.com for short. Email is info (at) cheshirecatphoto.com and phone/fax is

`All right,' said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly,
beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which
remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

4.30.1998 - 12.17.2007

I worked for Netscape from April, 1998 until AOL relocated me to
Columbus OH in 2001. I was with AOL until December 2007. Currently I
am unemployed and looking for a job either here in Columbus, OH or I
am willing to relocate to the bay area.

At Netscape, I was part of the intl netcenter group and at aol, i
worked on the AOL Video product.

9/96 - 10/98

I was in the Sydney, Australia office of Netscape from 1996 til late
1998.

I sacrificed valuable vesting time and stock price to
save my soul from burning at AOL.

Went to Software.com for a few years. Merged with
Phone.com to become Openwave.

Next was AirFlash. Did the whole start-up thing all over again
with all the old Netscape people. We merged with Webraska and got
raped.

Then came BEA.

April 2003, update:
Still at BEA. Going well. Anyone
doing anything out there that is changing the world?

January 2004, update:
BEA still. Same old, same old. No complaints.

Feb 2006, update:
Now at a new startup changing the Java world: Azul Systems.
Based in London. Missing the Sydney warmth.

March 2007, update:
Still at Azul. Having quite a bit of fun with this one actually.

April 2008, update:
Same old, same old Azul. Would quite fancy a new startup though....

Was an engineering stain at Netscape from 97-01.

Now I live on the big island of Hawaii and am an office b10tch at a
mortgage company. 4 days a week, lunches at the sea (man I miss those
2 hour "engineering meeting" lunches downtown...Yup, I gots nada
ambition. Life after Netscape made me realize most jobs suck. Sure
its all souless but at least at Netscape the people were real(not
counting Marketing of course). You're better off living somewhere
cool than making money in a crap hole like Mt. View. Surf and/or
smoke? Lets rip 'em high and straight into the barrel cuz:
