AOL laid me off on September 28, 2001, and I started with Sun Microsystems in the same job (ESAM) on October 8, 2001. I resigned from Sun Microsystems and left on April 8, 2005. I started at VeriSign as a Global Deployment Manager on April 18, 2005. VeriSign had a reorg that laid off about 9.6% of its staff world wide in February 2007.
